REGISTRATION
Confirmation of registration will be sent upon receipt of payment. Events that are included in the registration fee must also be booked in advance, in order to obtain a ticket.

The registration fee for participants includes:
All Congress materials, daily tea/coffee, Welcome Reception, admission to all conference sessions.

PAYMENT
The total amount due including that for all social events and full prepayment of hotel, as calculated on the registration form, must be paid by credit card or bank transfer when the registration is submitted. Your registration will only be accepted when full payment has been received. Payment should be made in SEK by one of the following methods:

• American Express, Visa or Eurocard/Mastercard
• Bank transfer

Please indicate card number and expiration date when registering.

CANCELLATION

Notification of cancellation
If you cannot attend, your registration is transferable to another member of your organisation. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Congrex Sweden (iupac2008@congrex.com). Cancellation of registration will be accepted until June 16, 2008, before which date the total amount will be refunded less a cancellation fee of SEK 500. We regret that no refund can be made for any cancellation received after this date.

Notification of hotel room cancellation
Notification of hotel room cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Congrex Sweden (iupac2008@congrex.com). Cancellation of a hotel reservation will be accepted until June 16, 2008, before which date the hotel prepayment will be refunded less a cancellation fee of SEK 200. We regret that the hotel prepayment cannot be refunded for any cancellation received after this date.

ACCOMPANYING PERSON(S)
The accompanying person fee is 375 SEK and includes the Welcome Reception and the opportunity to book dinner tickets and/or tickets for the boat trip to Marstrand. A representative from the Göteborg tourist office will be available at the Conference Venue to arrange additional excursions for accompanying persons at extra cost.

REGISTRATION FEE

VAT Regulations
Swedish tax legislation requires participants to pay their registration fee either including or excluding Swedish VAT. Therefore, please identify your category below and choose the appropriate alternative on the registration form.

• Swedish participants must always pay the registration fee including VAT, as must private individuals within the European Union.
• Participants from a company/organisation within the European Union pay the registration fee excluding VAT when stating their VAT registration number. If no VAT number or an incorrect number is given the fee will have to be paid including VAT.
• Participants from countries outside the European Union pay the registration fee excluding VAT.
  
• Costs of hotels and social events and the fee for an accompanying person must always include VAT.

Members of the EPA (http://www.photochemistry.eu/) are offered a 5% discount on the registration fee, subsidized by the EPA. Please indicate such membership on the registration form. Delegates who register as EPA members will be checked against a current members’ list, and if not a member, the fee will be changed to the correct amount.
